Dance At Latitude Festival | English National Ballet: A Tribute To Rudolf Nureyev

Dance At Latitude Festival, Blythburgh

The increasingly rich mix at Latitude sees an impressive dance selection included in the lineup. Sadler's Wells drives a lot of the content and they've sent associate artists BalletBoyz, who perform pieces by Liam Scarlett and Russell Maliphant, plus new wave artist Rocío Molina, who is one of the most playful forces on the flamenco scene. Elsewhere, hip-hop crew Boy Blue feature, as do contemporary collective Hiru, and festival-goers can take dance classes courtesy of DanceEast.

English National Ballet: A Tribute To Rudolf Nureyev, London

It's 20 years since Rudolf Nureyev died, and in this timely summer triple bill ENB pay tribute to the great dancer and director with revivals of three ballets that have been closely associated with him and his career. Petrushka is first up and was a role Nureyev performed frequently. He was also deeply attached to Béjart's emotional setting of Mahler's Song Of A Wayfarer, which is the second work tackled. Finally, Nureyev's own work as a choreographer and producer is showcased in Raymonda Act III, the glittering conclusion to Petipa's late classic.

London Coliseum, WC2, Thu to 27 Jul
